I have arrived in London, and am having a blast. I’ve been able to see some of the big sights, like Big Ben, and spent some time hanging out with the guards around Buckingham Palace. For some reason the Queen wouldn’t let me in, though. She must have mistaken me for one of these protesters that are permanently camping out in front of Parliament.

There are a lot more historical sites here than back in America, and some of the old landmarks are being rebuilt, like Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, which has now returned to the south bank of the Thames for the 3rd time.

I’m looking forward to seeing more of the UK, and continuing my journey around the world. If I spend too much more time in London though, I may have to find a job to raise a little more cash. Those American dollars I have from my last destination don’t go very far outside the States.
